A comprehensive class lasting approx 2 hours about backyard chicken keeping, covering anatomy, breeds, appropriate housing, feeds, predator prevention and "henhouse politics".  Cost of class is $10 per participant. Starts at 10:30 am Honey's Acres Farm is an urban farm approx 17 miles south of Dallas growing healthy food. Their address is 1350 Stoney Creek Drive, Cedar Hill, TX  75104.

Starting your backyard flock and pullet sale at end of class

Join us for an informative class taught by our long time fowl expert and co-owner of Trinity Haymarket Bill Dougherty at our partnered farm Honey's Acres Farm in Cedar Hill Texas located at 1350 Stoney Creek Drive Cedar Hill  TX 75104. We have a limited number of heritage breeds that will be available for sale at the end of the chicken talk.  If you are attending the class the cost is $20 and is payable the day of the class. If you are picking up pullets only we anticipate the class will end between 11:30 am till noon.
