Raising Backyard Chickens Class

Join us on October 19th for a great class on all you need to know about chickens and raising them in your backyard. Bill Dougherty who brings 50+ years of successfully raising various kinds of fowl will teach the class.  Doesnt matter if you are a newbie or want to expand your knowledge this will be a great class. We encourage questions and expect to learn about the evolution, anatomy, recommended breeds, housing, nutrition, predator and weather concerns and much more.  Charge is only $10 per indiviual or $15 per couple/family.

Raising backyard Chickens

Join us on March 23 for a lively discussion about raising backyard chickens.  Baby chicks will be in the store so we will start with raising baby chicks all the way through adulthood. Learn about breeds, anatomy, housing, feed recommendatioins, weather issues, predators and more. Cost of class is $10 per participant or $15 per family. Class should last approx.

Poultry Husbandry

Intro to Backyard Chickens
